The Art of the Flip Flop

This week, Donald’s head spun like a top or went around in circles like a Merry Go Round. On Sunday, he was for pushing to repeal and replace Obamacare. On Monday, when he got the bad news it would not happen, he said he wanted to push for repeal only and replace it later. This would shatter the healthcare insurance industry and put 32 million without insurance by 2026. His goal here was obviously to get something on the scoreboard no matter how destructive. The odds were overwhelmingly against this. In football, we call this kind of thing a “Hail Mary”.

Then he changed his mind on Tuesday and said they should do nothing and let Obamacare die on its own.

On Wednesday, Donald decided against mental stability further and flip flopped again. He said he was going to work out a deal and repeal and replace Obamacare. The Republicans should not let 7 years of repeal efforts go to waste. Republicans should ignore the 75-80% who don’t want their repeal and replace. They should ignore the tens of millions who would lose insurance and suffer and die because of it. Republicans should continue being Republicans.

In baseball, if someone strikes out and refuses to get out of the batters box, he will be thrown out of the game. That’s what Americans have to do with the Donald. Throw him out.

NOTE: As of the morning of Thursday, July 20, 2017 Donald hasn’t flip flopped again, yet.
